Who are we?

Tokiko is Anna and Benoît. She is Swedish, he is Basque by adoption. Since 2016, they have been transforming the cities we love into objects we keep.

The idea came from Anna. Trained at the Fine Arts schools in London and then Stockholm, she spent years illustrating for women's magazines, a world of precise detail, of lines that say a lot with a little. It was her deep love for graphic design and patterns that led her, one day, to look at city maps differently. To see in them not a map, but a pattern in itself, dense, organic, unique. Like a fingerprint: recognizable among thousands, impossible to confuse with another.

Benoît, for his part, manages the development and commercial aspects of Tokiko, growing the brand, finding the right partners, and opening up new horizons. Together, they have built a brand that caters to all cities, large metropolises as well as small towns of character. Because all deserve to be celebrated, and attachment to a place is not measured by its size.

Posters are the heart of Tokiko, printed locally in different formats. But the illustrations have now gone beyond the walls: trays, enamel mugs, cotton and linen tea towels, notebooks... so many everyday objects that allow you to take a city with you, in a different way.
